Adapting Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults

Learn how therapy can be tailored to better support neurodivergent adults in this online training event for psychological therapists.

The training has been co-produced with thanks to Maria, Lorna and Felix, neurodivergent folk who are part of our Neurodivergent Parent Space community. It also draws on extensive clinical experience of working with the ND community and up to date research in this area.

Founded by three Clinical Psychologists, The Neurodiversity Practice is built on over 50 years of collective experience in the neurodiversity space, professionally and personally. Get to know our founders below:

Dr Siobhan Higgins, co-founder of The Neurodiversity Practice

Dr. Siobhan Higgins is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience working with neurodivergent families across a variety of communities and cultural backgrounds. Siobhan helps leaders, organisations and teams to celebrate diverse voices and develop systems of compassionate practice.

Dr Jo Mueller, co-founder of The Neurodiversity Practice

Dr Jo Mueller is a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working with the neurodivergent community in clinical mental health services, academic research, and the private sector. Jo is passionate about delivering engaging training on neuroinclusivity and regularly provides expert comment to the media.

Dr Lauren Breese, co-founder of The Neurodiversity Practice

Dr Lauren Breese is a Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of experience working within specialist NHS services supporting neurodivergent people across the lifespan. Lauren is passionate about helping teams and organisations to authentically embrace neuroinclusivity within their culture.
